Osteoporosis / Bone Density Screening
Bone Center of the Rockies is proud to announce the availability of Bone Density Screening,
known as DXA scans. This service is available at our Westminster, Colorado location.

Instructions

No calcium pills for 24 hours before the scan.
Avoid clothing with metal, like zippers or rivets. Sweat pants work well.
Do not wear jewelry
Please wait one week after any contrast studies (i.e. upper/lower GI's, CAT Scans, IVP's, etc.) to have your DXA scan.

Bone density screenings are performed between 9 AM and 4 PM by appointment only.

Cancellations must be made 24 hours prior to your appointment date.

Please plan to arrive 5 minutes prior to your appointment.
